KIXX Dance is an established dance school that opened in 1983, by Tracy Walters. Formerly known as Tracy Broome School of Dance. Tracy was a Ballroom and Latin Champion who had a passion to dance and pass on this passion to others. The school began in Newport and Cwmbran and has now grown to other areas such as Porth, Swansea and Cardiff.

Tracy is Chairman of the Wales and West Area ADFP (Association of Dance and Freestyle Professionals) of which KIXX are members. Tracy has taught and trained the 4 teachers who teach for KIXX, they are all former Champions, in all the styles taught within the school. The teachers are 100% professionally qualified, insurance covered and CRB certified.

The teachers are Alysha Broome, Aimee Cowdell, Ceri Truman and Adam Howe. Between them, the teachers have brought the school many championship titles in all areas taught. Also assistance with dance college certificates, GCSE dance and recognised dance degrees. In previous years KIXX have focused their work on competitions and medal examinations, however as the school is ever growing and developing we are now able to take on new challenges such as; Shows and TV.

Dance styles taught within KIXX are Freestyle Disco, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Ballet, Latin, Ballroom, Rock n Roll, Commercial and Musical Theatre. There are many classes that take place throughout the week. To find out more, head over to the 'timetable' section.

We aim to teach all dance styles to the best of the childs ability. However through dance, pupils will also learn to develop confidence, team work, and social skills, as well as self awareness and hopefully the knowledge that fitness is a necessity for future life.
